Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How do we ship our products year round?
A: We ship all orders with frozen ice gel packs packed inside a styrofoam container inside a cardboard box. We offer ground shipping for the local tri-state area and UPS Next Day Air for the rest of the country. Typically orders will be held only one or two days in transit.

Q: Are your products kosher?
A: Yes, all items we produce are under the strict supervision of the Orthodox Union (OU). All of the smoked fish salads are under the OK Supervision. Our facility (where all the items ship from) has a "Mashgiach Temidi (full time Kashruth Supervisor)" from the CRC with regular inspections from the Orthodox Union. Our main certifying agencies are OU and CRC. Please email info@bannersmokedfish.com for any Kashrut related questions.

Q: What should I do if I don't like the product?
A: Reach out to our support team at Banner Smoked Fish to see what we can do for you. We do not accept returns of any kind unless it is shipped in the same way it was received, with frozen ice packs, and expedited service. 

Q: What should I do if the item(s) arrive broken or damaged?
A: Be sure to send photos of the damaged item(s) and box, we need multiple shots and angles to file a claim with the carriers. We will then be able to respond and deal with your order accordingly.

Q: My Order arrived a bit warmer than expected.
We at Banner Smoked Fish take enormous pride in making sure that your order is packaged properly and shipped quickly so it arrives to your doorstep in good condition and safe to consume. While we regularly conduct test shipments to ensure your smoked fish arrives at the proper temperature, occasionally packages are affected by conditions beyond our control, such as extreme seasonal temperatures.

Our products are safe to enjoy as long as they arrive cool to the touch.
